"Loose Bird’s Nest (燕碎) are loose fallen pieces when hand-picking of bird’s nest.
- Recommended soaking time: 1 hour.
- Recommended cooking time: 30 minutes.
How to prepare:
- For loose type of bird’s nest, soak in water for 1 hour.
- Pour out the water used for soaking using a strainer. You may change the water and rinse accordingly.
- Put soaked bird’s nest and water in a double boiler or bird’s nest boiler for about 30 minutes.
- Add rock sugar to sweeten (if you like) towards the end of cooking.
Storage Condition:
Stored in a cool dry place, away from sunlight and moisture.
