"Heart Shaped Bird's Nest (燕饼) are made from the loose fallen pieces when hand-picking of bird’s nest. It is compressed and make into different shapes such as the one below. Nutritional value are the same and it is often made into bottled bird’s nest and drinks. Each piece is good for 1 serving.
- Approximately 5g per piece.
- Recommended soaking time: 2 hours.
- Recommended cooking time: 30-35 minutes.
How to prepare:
- Soak bird nest for 2 hours till expanded and soften.
- Separate the bird nest into smaller pieces.
- Drain off the water.
- Add fresh water into the stew pot (Water level cover bird nest 1-2cm)
- Cook for 30-40 minutes.
- Ready to serve!
Storage Condition: Stored in a cool dry place, away from sunlight and moisture.
